wellnessprosperityI wrote recently about the domains of wellness.  The word “wellness” brings up images of healthy eating, working out, and… smiling. That’s great, but there is so much more to it than that!

Wellness includes an overall sense of peace and strength. It means healthy, vibrant personal relationships. Growth in our spirituality. A healthy thought life. Careers and meaningful work that that we enjoy. A life filled with genuine fun and laughter. New experiences in a health-promoting environment. Neighborhoods free of toxins and violence, with green space and accessible resources. Regular rest and relaxation. New knowledge and positive outlets for our creativity.

Besides “wellness,” the other word that quickly comes to mind when I consider a word picture around what it is like to be fit, strong, and growing in all areas of life is “prosperity.”

In the same way that “wellness” is often seen as physical, “prosperity” is often seen solely as financial. These are limited views of these powerful words that can improve the quality of our lives and impact our ability to serve others.

Concepts of wellness and prosperity are closely connected to the G.O.D.A.S.S.E.T.S.

GA and Wellness

As we develop each of the investments that God has placed in each of us (assets)–we should also be in touch with wellness and prosperity. How much better do we feel overall when we are expressing ourselves the way God designed us and sharing our abilities with the world? How great of a sense of fulfillment will we have when these things are in alignment?

The end of the year is a great time to develop a workable plan for wellness and a vision of prosperity for our future. I would love to talk to you more about this! Sign up for a Connection Session before the end of the month. It’s a time of focus for you to evaluate where you are and to then take ONE, significant step toward the prosperity and well-being that you want to have in 2020 and beyond.

Your future is waiting!
